Best Media for Malware Removal Kit

I am putting together a malware removal kit but I am curious what the best media to save this on would be. Obviously I need to be extremely cautious about what kind of media I plug into a friend's infected pc.

I am thinking that CDs might be the best way to transport software to an infected pc that has no Internet connection. It would be nice to use flash drives, but I fear that these may be too easily infected.

I just wanted to hear some suggestions on this.
