Best PC of the Month/Year?

Hi, I am new here so I am not sure what goes on here but I have a sudgestion. I am looking for a new PC and a laptop but there are so many to choose from. Since computers are evolving so rapidly MG should have a stick for "Currently best PC." I understand that there are different uses for computer ie gaming, movies, and work, so a PC maybe good for onething but not so good for something else. The sticky should be based, if possible, on a most compatible pc.

It could be broken down into HW.
Currently best:
CPU
MotherBoard
Sound Card
Hard Drive
CD-rom/DVD-rom R/Wr
Keyboard/Mouse
Display
Speakers
etc
etc...

And
Best riged PC (personaly put together from parts)
Best in value (quality for $).

This would help many newbies, like myself, to quickly find what is currently the good stuff out there.

 

Sounds like a good idea, but there are a ton of members here and so it would be hard to find out who had the best pc. and a lot of people have duplicates so like one machine could be almost the same as the other machine regarding specs. i can see where you going though and i think that would be a good idea.
