Im trying to train for my A+ cert. What is the best way to train? Books? If so, any series/one in particular? If not books, then what?

    oh, btw, Im back.

I used Briandumps, but I think Comptia threatened to sue all of the sites that had dumps for A+ and Network+.

A lot of sites sell training materials, but I don't know if they're worth the money.

I passed mine about three years ago, so I don't know what to say as far as topics to focus on. When I took mine, there were still a lot of questions regarding old-ass stuff that you don't run into much anymore.

Definetly memorize the IRQ's, POST sequence, etc.

I do remember a lot of visual type questions where they gave you a horrible block diagram of say a motherboard and you had to point things out. The pictures were terrible. I bet a lot of people failed just because of those poor diagrams. I think they've improved them since.

Good Luck! I'm going for my Network+ next month.

    I meant Braindumps, not Briandumps.
