Better Performance Enhancement Upgrade for Laptop

    I have a 4200rpm laptop hard drive currently. IS there a significant performace upgrade to goto the 5400rpm drive?

    OR

    Would I see more of an enhancemnent from upgrading my PC2700 ram to PC3200.

    For a significant performance upgrade, install a 7200rpm drive and leave the RAM alone (unless you only have 256mb, then double to 512mb minimum). I know Hitachi makes a 60gb 7200rpm laptop HD for about $100-$120 retail. You'll notice a HUGE increase in performance :D !!!
