I bought two of these GPU's for my SLI DFI (modded) board. The strange thing is, in spite of the fact that it says "SLI Nvidia Ready" on the box and in the instructions, there is no tab on the cards for which I can connect a bridge to. Is this normal? Am I to just plug them both into my computer and expect that they just run in SLI w/o the bridge?

Any info would be appreciated! Thanks.

As it would appear, my signature isn't showing up. So here is the equivalent:

    AMD Sempron 2300 Athlon™ XP 1.27Ghz
DFI Lanpary Ultra-D NF4 SLI (modded) mobo.
    ASUSTeK A7V8X-X REV
    PIONEER DVD-ROM DVD-115F
    SCSIVAX DVD/CD-ROM SCSI CdRom Device
    Seagate 60.02Gb
    Seagate 250Gb.
    Sony CPD-E240 [Monitor] (16.1"vis, s/n 8005373, March 2002)

cards can run SLI without the bridge. my guess is that they dont need the bridge because they arent all that fast

Nice! So where exactly does it say on the boot menu that my rig is SLI. See I have the Ultra-D Laparty UT (DFI), did the mod, but I'm not sure if it's in effect. Oh and I also switched the jumpers.

When you Boot the first screen you see, Phoenix Bios bla bla ba

A couple lines down you'll see "nforce SLI" just before it list your drives

If you dont pay attention you'll miss it.

If you didnt do the mod correctly it will say "nForce Ultra" right before it list's your drives

Ya! I had to disable the boot screen logo from showing up. Now it shows. If both cards are configured correctly, should I be able to clearly see there are two GPU's installed in my "Device Manager"?

I just downloaded the drivers for SLI from nvidia. Wow!!! I can't believe the difference in Oblivion IV!!! It's amazing!!

If there were a bridge connecting the two GPU-if they were BFG 6600OC GT's instead of without the GT, would there be such a better difference?
