Biggest pet peeves?

What are some of your pet peeves out there? And lets keep it civil please.

- I don't like it when people are on your arse driving and I can see in the mirror that the person is on the phone with one hand and the second hand is on the steering wheel.. and shes staring more down then up.

- People that cross right in front of you when your driving down the street and have the right away

- People that get in front of the TV when I actually do want to see the whats on the television.

- People that shouldnt be driving still and barely see over the wheel itself.. And then those people try to park into a spot that they cant fit yet they hit your new car and scrap it and then leave the scene and I am pretty sure they didnt notice the bumping to begin with.

 

I didnt want to have to use this but I may have to bring out the gloves. :boxing

 

When you wait on hold for 15 minutes with a computer company to find out that 1 laptop hinge costs $275 usd!

 

when people use "your" instead of "you're" when using the contraction of YOU ARE. (TIMMAY!!)

- People who get 'their' 'there' and 'they're' mixed up. Also 'two','to' and 'too'.

FINGERS POINTING AT ME! Man, that makes me want to punch a kitten!

 

Mail-in rebates. What a con . . . they only exist because they get people to buy products at an attractive "reduced" price - but a good portion of those same people will fail to redeem the rebate, or fail to complete properly the usually multi-step and often confusing procedures for redeeming them.

I often refuse to buy products that offer mail-in "rebates" - especially if they involve internet stuff . . .

I got a mail in rebate for this last christmas and I found out you got to call a number to get the rebate active and then I sent it into this address.. They sent it back saying not the right thing but it was the only thing that I had. So I recent and they sent back saying no such address for the mailer so I just gave up. Now to add back to original topic.

- I dont like it when you order something from a company and they (put you down for a subscription)and charge it without you knowing. My mother order few things from different places. And they said she was marked down for subscription and she had to bitch and moan to get off one thing.. and the other keeps sending stuff monthly. She just got the reply we got the rest of the year of goodies lol..

- Also people/companys that advertise and call you saying they can help you and they got all the "legit" stuff but then again somethings fishy. My mom got called by a place near by saying they would give her a lower bill if she combines two bills together.. Well she said no hung up they called few times.. and 4th time she listen to what they said and they said we are going to record you for our "safety" but only answer yes to what we ask.. so they ask legit questions and she says yes then at the end they say something about a "special fee of 1500 dollars!" She said oh no I cant do this I cant pay that you didnt tell me this!! Anyways they stopped the recording and said maam we cant help you if you don't do as we said.. So she eventually said screw it and hung up.. Now she had to close her bank account totally.. and had banks look out for her "personal info being used" but luckly nothing so far. And another thing is that commercial sending you gold in and you'll get money back. Well they finally did investigation and found a person paying small percent of whats its really worth and now there talking to him.

 

Needing to use a public facility and finding the last person didn't flush!

Being on a "do not call list" and still getting frequent sales calls! They get an earful from me, poor sales people. :mad Call display helps but not all the time. That's just one for the time being.

 

Ignorant people who interrupt me and continue to speak like I'm not here/people who get louder after interrupting me.

If I'm speaking wait your turn to F&&&ing speak!If you start speaking by accident because you thought I'd finished just apologise,it is then my prerogative to allow you to speak or not.

If we don't follow the laws of conversation the discussion will get louder and louder and I will become angrier and angrier until I may be liable to cut the top of your skull off and inscribe what I was unable to say directly onto your cerebral cortex with a pick axe while screaming it into your ear.

And extended warranties.

I thought they passed something in the USA were for the people that keep getting calls from people trying to sell and you tell them to stop calling you and they do it again its consider harassing. Even many still do it. Theres been people on the news where a woman got called by a guy and the guy was part of 30 boxes(in a office area) so 30 people and they just go down list of numbers.. anyways the guy that was trying to sell got told no from the woman and he threaten her and said she was going to die and go to hell and all that. But after investigation guy was charged but not fired. I get long distance calls on my cell for whatever reasons.. I just called 1 last night saying stop calling.

 

About the telemarketing calls. Depends how they pronounce my last name. If they can't pronounce it correctly and their tel# doesn't look private, I usually ask them if they're selling something. Then tell them right off the bat that I'm on the do not call list, take my tel # off their calling list and will report them if I get another call from them. They don't get much of a chance to put a word in first. :-D 99.9% they're telemarketers. It irks me that they usually call around dinner time and one has to make a trip to the phone. No, I don't take my portable phone into the kitchen for their calls. I used to remember all of Canada's area codes but have forgotten them. Believe I'm getting also USA (robot) marketing calls? (Banking/credit card)

Guess they'd be terribly surprised if/when going through Halo's list. :-D:-D Can't wait for the next telemarketer to try it out.
