Hi Darlene yep i am here i keep popping in to see how you all are and do some PMs.

It's been a bit hectic here for the last week i am spending a lot of time with lawyers(it's costing a fortune) and doctors,they now tell me i need another op to replace my right hip crap:crap) but because of the other problem we are unable to set a date for the moment.

I obviously do not have the money needed to pay the final settlement so they are trying to make me sell the house, i hope it will not come to that!!!

thanks for the post i just thought it would be polite to give a reply and i will keep everyone posted as to the ongoing saga,i hope to have some news later today i just hope it's good news.

I dunno if u can do this over there, but if u can....

"Sell" the house to a friend or family member for $1 with a rental clause that states you will remain in residence for the cost of $1 a year or some such.

Figure it might be worth a shot. Hope it all works out for you.

yep we can do that but i don't have the time,with all the papers that have to go before a judge before you can sell a house here it takes 2 months minimum.

they do it that way to see if you owe any money to the government I.E taxes and if you do they get first bite,it's a really strange system.

I have had some good news from the lawyers today they are going to apply for clemency from the King (another strange system) that means i get to keep the house and no jail so we can only hope, everything is now on hold again.

How did your last op go over Christmas? You're just recuperating from that op, and I can't believe you now need another op to replace your right hip! Holy Hell!!

Delays and hold ups for such legal matters are to be expected...and hopefully clemency will be considered in your favour.

Thank for the kind thoughts my dear friends, i came back on line yesterday (Thursday) for the first time.

my operation was on 26/12/2007 and was a complete success it has stopped a lot of the pain so i am really happy.

i had some problems with my internet server and that is why i was away so long but all is now good so i hope to contribute to forum once again.

my clemency plea is still in the pipeline they do not expect to hear anything for another month or so, in this part of the world justice is rather slow so we just have to wait.

i am now able to walk with crutches and later in the year (july or august) i have to have the other one done and that is the last job (i hope)

Hi Bill...so good to hear your surgery went well over Christmas (thought of you while I was in hospital too, and how lucky I was compared to what I've had done to your ops!) Recuperation for me is at a glacier pace, presently confined to house rolleyes and expect clearance for some hydro aqua physiotherapy around 1st week Feb...currently not allowed to lift more than 4 kilograms (ie 8.82 pounds)...so my cat has wondered why I haven't picked him up since I've been home

Wish you luck with legal stuff and good to see you're progressing so well!
