.bin files

I have been using AVG Anti-Virus Free for a while now and am very happy with it. This morning, the program could not download updates and the error message says that a .bin file is missing. So far, I have taken the following steps:
- rebooted computer
- uninstalled and reinstalled AVG Free
- searched via Google for possible solutioon and, as a result, downloaded, installed an ran Uniblue Registry Booster2 (which found a large number of errors to rectify in the registry - 1,000+)

The error message on the Update Manager for AVG still says "a .bin file is missing".

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

No problem. This happens with AVG every now and then, likely will be squared away in a day or so.
