Well I seemed to have accidentally installed a BinkProvidedSearch program when I thought I was installing a Dell Utility on Explorer. I rarely use Explorer as my preferred browser is Firefox.

Sadly, Dell would not run the scan on their site via Firefox, likely because I don't run Java Script. I then tried to run it on explorer and seems like I got duped and downloaded something malicious.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think you mean Bink I think you mean Bing which is the Microsoft Search version of Google and is not malicious. In fact many times I find it better and faster to load that Google. However if you do not want to have Bing as your default search engine then just uninstall BingProvidedSearch

    Sorry "Bink" was a typo.

It will not uninstall and I didn't purposefully install it. Will not uninstall. Tried removing it with CCleaner and tried it also in the control panel. Internet seems to hang up a also since.

    There is a screen shot.

Please download OTM by Old Timer and save it to your Desktop.
    • Run OTM.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, Win7 or Win8, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).
    • Copy the lines from the below codebox to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C
(or, after highlighting, right-click and choose Copy): Do not include the word Code: which is just a title line of the code box
    • Make sure that you scroll all the way to the bottom of the code box to get the whole fix!
    Code:
    :Processes
    explorer.exe

    :Files
    C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\{D5EEE3B2-F146-8F0A-9CDE-AAE2B8B6567A}\uninst.exe
    C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\7564A4D7-3575-1009-8F47-586D08DD5B4F\productupdt.exe
    C:\Windows\Temp\*.*
    C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\Temp\*.*

    :Reg
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchScopes\{0633EE93-D776-472f-A0FF-E1416B8B2E3A}]
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchScopes\{26080cad-4adc-49ac-8c63-eda16e595cbd}]
    [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchScopes\{0633EE93-D776-472f-A0FF-E1416B8B2E3A}]
    [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchScopes\{26080cad-4adc-49ac-8c63-eda16e595cbd}]
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{2957C197-79D7-1017-C857-609718D7B317}]
    :Commands
    [purity]
    [EmptyTemp]
    [start explorer]
    [Reboot]
    • Return to OTM, right click in the Paste List of Files/Folders to Move window (under the yellow bar) and choose Paste.
    • Now click the large http://forums.majorgeeks.com/chaslang/images/MoveIt!.png button.
    • If OTM asks to reboot your computer, allow it to do so. The report should appear in Notepad after the reboot.
    • Close OTM.
Now navigate to the C:\_OTM\MovedFiles folder ( assuming your Windows drive is C). This is where your log will be
saved in the form of Date and Time mmddyyyy_hhmmss.log. Just look for the most recent .log file. Attach
this log file to your next message.

Now please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista, Win7, 8 or 10, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Note: That JRT may reset your home page to a google default so you will need to restore your home page setting if this happens.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.
Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, Win7, Win8 or Win10, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:
    • the C:\_OTM\MovedFiles log
    • the JRT.TXT log
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

    You're welcome.
I'm not sure what this means. Are you saying that you are having a problem?

Bing is gone but the internet still doesn't seem to be running correctly. Still giving me a not responding issue and running slow.

Deactivated all my add-ons and still an issue.

BTW...All other computers on the Network seem fine.

It does not appear to be a malware problem. Are you only having problems when you use Firefox? As a test, reboot your PC ( necessary ) and do not open Firefox after restart. Now just try using Internet Explorer. Do you notice the same issues when running Internet Explorer?
