BitDefender & Panda Infected - Other Scans Clean

On a routine on-line scan BitDefender shows the following infections.

Win32.Mydoom.AQ@mm
Generic.Malware.PV.D284BE10
Trojan.Downloader.Bagle.BU

Infection is confirmed by Panda Active Scan. This sent me through your Read & Run Me list including CCleaner, Ad-Aware SE, SpyBot S&D, and MS AntiSpyware. Also included was a scan with my normal AVG v7.

All scans, with the exception of the two on-line scans are clean. From the on-line scan logs, it seems like the infections are generally related to e-mail files in the Thunderbird e-mail client.

I'm concerned that all scans are clean with the exception of the two on-line. Since I've been through the Read & Run Me steps and still need some help (or maybe reassurance), a HiJack This log is attached. Logs in .txt format from the on-line scans are available.

You have severval emails with infected attachments & some backups that are infected.

Other than that your logs are clean.

 

Thanks for taking a look at the log and I'm pleased to hear that it's clean.

I assume these are unopened e-mail attachments which haven't spread any infection. I'll try to dig those out individually. The backups would simply be a reflection of what was found in the original e-mail folders. They'll be purged with the next backup.

I really appreciate your assistance in confirming that the bad stuff hasn't spread.
