Bitlocker Blue Loader Screen Win10

I have a Windows 10 laptop; which i need to update, however i cannot remove the Bitlocker Blue loader screen on startup which asks for my password every time .



Bitlocker has been removed from my system - see c: prompt screenshot.



I need to remove the requirement for the Bitlocker Loader every time i start the computer.



Is there a way to delete this requirement

From the screen shot, it looks like you already ran manage-bde -status . Since Windows is being pig-headed/ignorant about BitLocker being turned off, give this a try:

1. Make absolutely sure that you don't have another BitLocker-encrypted drive in your computer.

2. Back up your data.

3. Launch an elevated command prompt (Run as administrator), then run this command:

manage-bde -protectors -delete C: -type tpmandstartupkey​

This should get it through Windows' thick head that BitLocker is no longer used on this PC.
