Bizarre, Mac IT guy loads pirated Xp !

Well the brat got her iMac. Two very polished gents came over to install and setup.

I know c**p about Mac OS X period. I'm asking lame questions about AV , Firewall and MS Word blah blah!

Any way the guys hands are flying all over the key board, then he has his external USB HD installing stuff. All at lighting speed!

Suddenly I see XP Set up! So I ask, "You giving me a legit XP for free"!!
The nutter installed XP (pirated) in *side by side* or parallels, what ever its called on Mac. His explanation "Sir, for some apps you need Windows"!

I think the ludicrous and angry expression on my face, ran him off :-D

I think I would keep it, and notify Microsoft.

 

Kept the Mac. Had him remove XP :-D

Don't know why he did it *E* Think he was being over enthusiastic. Could be because I mentioned, I might dual boot 7 on it some time later.
