    Just one to thank everyone who answers the Maleware section.

    I have the black internet services, smss.exe trojan that re-infected on reboot.

    Using REMOVER.EXE solve my problem.

    Symantec could delete the bogus services and smss in the System Volume Information file folder but it repopulated with every reboot. While this bandaid approach kept me going, installing anything that used services.exe caused the system to crash.

    REMOVER fix it.
