Black screen issue after login Windows Vista

Hi, help.

I have a Seimens Esprimo with windows vista home premium installed.
When i power on it says windows closed unexpectedly and then goes to login screen. Once I login a message comes up to say my window tuneup is not working and when I press oOkay I just get a blank black screen wher I can move the cursor. When I press CTRL ALT DEL and select task manager I get "Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator. Please help MTDtom

Try pressing F8 repeatedly during bootup before the Windows logo to get Advanced boot options.

Try Last Know Good Configuration first. If that doesn't load go back and try Safe Mode. If Safe Mode works then go to Computer and right-click the C: drive and select Properties. Then the Tools tab and Error Checking. Tick both boxes and then Check Now button. It will schedule for next reboot. Reboot and let chkdsk run. See if it goes any further.

 

Hi, no joy with pressing F8 or safe mode. Any other ideas? Thanks
