I did it now Its something people would want. If anyone has links to all his pages, ill set it up. Basically, there were 3 pages in all, I think, I can find 2, not the third. I can probably set it all up with working links, etc.

I found it yesterday, but suspect it might be outdated, was hoping for a newer copy, but can try that one.

 

I hope so. Like I said, those 2 pages are working, I have the older mirror of services411.htm, so hopefully it will make it so those 3 pages all work together, which does not comlete his entire website, but does complete the services portion, the most popular part. In other words, all the links from the first page work to the second page, but not the third... or something Normally I would not bother, but that is literally a famous source and the most used for configuring services.

 

If i may just add some extra information regarding the services of xp home. With sp2 installed you will now be seeing extra services in the line up and one of these is DCOM SERVICE PROCESS LAUNCHER In which you must have started and on automatic for the correct function of Microsoft antispyware
There is also the WINDOWS USER MODE DRIVER FRAMEWORK in which you most probably wont need so it is best to keep that stopped and in manual. You can find out more here about that service
