Blinking Hourglass when in My Picures

    It takes forever to show the pics in their folders and the Taskmanager shows the CPU as 100%, 50-65% in SYSTEM. Just started to happen very recently. Prior to that it was so very fast that they all showed up in a few seconds.

    Also when I remove the recent used programs in the Start Program by right clicking it the hourglass blinks as well. Never had that before.

    Any advice in how to correct this is very welcome and TIA.

    Today it seems to be working fine. If that rapid blinking comes back with the CPU usage at 100%, I'll be coming back to this thread again.
