Block Automatic Installation Of Microsoft Edge By Windowsupdate

This registry key will block Microsoft edge from updating to Chromium.

In the search box type, Regedit make sure you run as administrator rights.

Expand Console tree

Navigate to edge update.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate

On the right side, you should see this below.

DoNotUpdateToEdgeWithChromium

If the registry is not there you have to add it as a Reg_Dword 32.

Right-click on the name DoNotUpdateToEdgeWithChromium and click on modify.The normal value is set to 0 set the value to 1 to disable this update from installing over and over. You can uninstall the new edge chromium if you don't like it. But you must disable the registry otherwise it will keep reinstalling.
