   Sorry if this is a stupid question, but why does XP Pro list some of my files in a blue font off its own bat? They're not all system files, neither are they all in hidden folders and I can't seem to find anything they have in common.

   if its ntfs all files that are compressed are listed in blue, and encoded in green. you can turn this off if this annoys you, forget how.
