Hey im having the same problem with blue screen, i play world of warcraft and when i turn it on and go into a certain area the computer completely freezes and this messgae comes up...

problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

The problem seems to be caused by the following file: igxprd32
If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again follow these steps:

The device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates a problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly.

Please check with your hardware devices vendor for any driver updates.

    Technical information:

    Hi

Moved your post and question to its own thread as not to confuse the issue of yours with the other members.

What Windows version and Service Pack do you have?

What is the make and model of your PC?

Does this happen with any other games (please name them) or just WOW? Is WOW fully patched with all updates?

Is this the first time you have seen this BSOD error, or has it happened before?

Basically what I would start off with is to update or re-install your Chipset driver, then reboot, then install the lastest Intel Graphics Driver for your make of PC, which was why I asked for the make and model so we can find the driver for you if you dont on your own from the manufacturers support/download site.

    Hi

What is the make and model of your PC? (e.g Dell, HP, Sony, Lenovo, Acer etc and the actual model number/name, should be on a sticker somewhere on the PC)

If you cannot find this info easily then follow the below as written.

Need this info to see if there are any updated drivers for the GPU (graphics card) which may help fix any graphic issues, it will also tell us if this PC is a laptop as in gaming they do at times suffer for excess heat and that can BSOD a PC.

    Hi

There are also a few other questions I asked in both my first post that need answering as the more info we/I have the better placed we are to help you.

All of your Dell drivers are HERE for reference and the actual model is and Inspiron Desktop 530

But try this and install the Chipset driver HERE and reboot (do reboot) then install the VGA driver from HERE

Okay i did what you said and i logged on and gamr froze again no error message this time but game closed down and resolution on desktop changed and the color distorted it said "The igxprd32 driver isn't working properly please rebopt your computer and the original settings will be restored"

Don't know what that means but at least no BSOD anymore.

    Hi

Have you ever cleaned out your PC from dust and fluff? as the CPU heatsink and fan maybe as well as any case fans could be dusty, so use a soft brush and some caned air to clean the insides out, as heat could be an issue here.

Also run this and post the result of the GFX card version it finds http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/detect.htm

has this game worked in the past ok, as onboard graphics from Intel are notorious for not playing well with graphical games like WOW

I downloaded the link and updated all out of date drivers and it still didn't work.

Also yes WoW worked normally before until August-September ish and it is fully patched.

    Hi

On occasion it could be that an older driver may work better with the hardware you have than the new one, so uninstall the current graphics driver and then install the last known one that Dell list HERE

Also try disablingyour security software (antivirus and firewall etc) and see if that helps, just could be a conflict with applications, especially if the CPU and GPU are working harder withthe graphically intense WoW
