Blue Screen of Horror, STOP Info, HELP Fast please

I need help fast please,

I have started my windows XP pro, i was installing SP2 but my laptop froze on me. so i restarted and doesnt what i put Normal, Safe mode, ect. i endup with a messege saying...


STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with status o the system has been shut down.

P.S. i upgraded my Windows 2000 Pro to XP

please my work is in it.

 

You could try booting off the Windows XP CD that came with the system and trying a repair or a FIXBOOT, or performing a non-destructive reinstall.

 

Have you tried Last Known Good Configuration ?
Does the error-message come before/after/during login ?

If before then you could try this MS KB Q307545 (Kind of difficult)
If after/during then you could try another user-account (If one is available)

If everything else fails then you can always do a repair install of WinXP. (Though you might want to be careful about that if using encrypted folders)
