Bluetooth Virtual Serial Port keeps disconnecting

I have an Iogear Bluetooth dongle (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1238961&CatId=909)
that I use to make a virtual serial port connection to my LG VX8700 Phone. I have the latest available Iogear software/driver installed, however my virtual serial port connection keeps disconnecting about 1 minute after connecting, if that long. It's connecting and disconnecting is like clock work...it's not intermittent. The blutooth doesn't disconnect cause I can just double click on the serial connection and it immediately reconnects, but not for long. I have googled somewhat but everything I've found is others with the same issues, but apparently no fixes so I haven't found any solutions, so I was just wondering if anyone is aware of this issue, or something I am not doing correctly, and if so...can you point me in the right direction. I have googled till my eyes are bleeding, so I'm loosing my patience. :confused

I am using this on my laptop which is an HP ZD8215 ( http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...9693&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN ) (17" Media Center 2005, Pent. 4, 1.2 gig of ram)
