bndmod.exe and hlmicro.exe help

Hi,

I have been having problems with some viruses and spyware lately and I got rid of most of them. However, my anti-spyware and anti-virus programs come up with these 2 programs as potential threats.

AVG usually comes up by saying that I have the bndmod.exe. However, it says it cannot clean it, quarntine it or heal it.

Microsoft Anti-Spyware comes up with the bndmod.exe and hlmicro.exe on its daily scan. It allows me to delete them, but they keep coming back.

I've run everything you suggest in your "READ FIRST BEFORE POSTING" thread and apparently it still hasn't worked.

These programs honestly don't do anything noticeable that I can tell. They don't hijack my browser and re-direct me anywhere but I'm sure they're doing something I don't want them to.

Can anyone help me out with getting rid of these? I can post hijackthis logs if neccessary or logs of anything you need me to.

and just to mention it, I ran Ewido Security Suite last week to try and get rid of the bndmod.exe file and while it did find some problems, it obviously didn't get rid of the problem.

- Download, install and update Spy Sweeper Run it once while you are in normal boot mode.

- The boot in safe mode from and run SpySweeper one more time.

Now reboot in normal mode.

Save and attach the logs from both runs along with a fresh HJT log from normal mode.

 

after trying various stuff for the past couple weeks, I think I got rid of both of them. AVG and MIcrosoft Anti-Spyware both have returned no problems for about a week. If it comes back Ill use SpySweeper. Thanks for the reply
