Bon Echo, time to die.

Alright, I figured I would try the Bon Echo Alpha and for a while it worked good. Well I got tired of not having compatable extentions and other features. The only thing I really wanted to save was my bookmarks. Well I went to the Bookmarks manager and clicked file then Export... Nothing happened... So I tried agian, and agian. I check \Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\default.1qx\ and all I could find was old copies of bookmarks from old installs of firefox... Support was no help and I can't find the Bon Echo bookmark file anywhere... So anything anyone can tell me would be a great help.

 

Did you close out of bon echo when you searched for your old bookmarks folder?

Did you also check c:\documents and settings\username\localsettings\application data\mozilla\firefox..etc?

You didn't happen to install a .places build of firefox, did you?

Btw, just so you know, only testers and developers should install alphas, betas, Release candadites. Cause situations like this can cause havock.

Anytime you install a Firefox test build, you should make a backup of your profile first. A little late now, I know.

I run nightly builds myself, but I also have the stable release installed as a backup, and I create separate profiles for each of my builds.
