Bonjour Service Error

Hi Guys

I am currently Syncing a iPhone 4s to iTunes. I have noticed with Event Viewer that I am getting multiple Bonjour Service errors one after another.
"ERROR: handle_resolve_request bad interfaceIndex X" where X is a number from 1 to 24. Can anyone help me resolve this constantly occuring error.

Current system is Win 7 x64, iTunes Vs 10.5.3.3, iphone 4s......thx

Apparently, this is a common problem - lots of articles about iTunes/Bonjour and Win7 64bit not handshaking well...

Are you experiencing other symptoms? The Event Viewer entries alone are not too alarming as long as everything else is working correctly...

You might try going into services.msc and setting the Bonjour Service to Manual, see if that changes anything...

 

Hello Caliban.

I'm not currently experiencing any problems due to that error. I took your advice and set Bonjour to Manual under Services. By doing that it would'nt allow my phone to link to iTunes through wifi, so I set it back to Automatic. Since you have suggested that is a common issue and no other problems have been detected so far I will leave it alone. But if you do find a workaround please let me know. Thank you kindly for your time and assistance.
