    Press F1, F2, or DEL (not sure which yours is) to go into the BIOS.

    Locate "Boot Sequence" and change it there.

    Master = HDD-0

    Slave = HDD1

    thanks for that,

    I have changed bios to cdrom, hdd0, hdd1 and i have checked my jumpers on both drives mster and slave the right way round, but it still boot up into d the slave nd all my files and progs i need to use and run are on c:

    so idesided to install windows again in D: and after it formatted the disc i would eject the disc, i then thought it would the just boot from C: master but it just say restarting setup put the disc bak in.

    any ore idears pease

    just guessing but maybe your boot sector is corrupt on drive c so it gets passed for an attempt to boot of d. you could try restarting and hit F8 and select bootable from there

    yeah i will try that now, i think windows changed the onfig when i installed it again on d: when i ask for a repair it lists which Windows C: or D: but not for the boot,

    Thank you for your help
