    Great Website here..

My computer will not boot up. It goes to a black screen and tells me to hit F1 key to continue, or F2 key to run setup utility. Well, I continued to get this message. I have switched Hard drives and it still does the same thing. I have removed all the PCI objects and steal no fix. I have checked and changed the IDE cables and still nothing. I don't know what else to try.
Please someone tell me it's not my mother board.

I will greatly appreicate any help..
    Thanks,
    WV_Gal

Can you get into the bios? (either the f1 or delete key as it boots up).
Can you get into the safe mode screen .....if so, try last known good configuration.
    Report back.:)

Do you hit F1? Does it continue?

If it's xp you will have to try a repair install ...boot from cd ....let it load ...enter at first screen (install or repair - recovery console), f8 to agreement ..then when it finds the previous xp .."R" for repair ....once it's done (which will look like a new install) ....you need to check this:
Read and run first - Malware section

what is the error that also is on the screen, there is usually one along with the F1 or F2 prompt.

There are no other error messages.
But now, I don't even get a response from my monitor. It's just a blank screen. So, I changed out my video card and nothing. I really think it is a mother board problem. I dun kno.

sounds about right. unless you can rule out the possiblity of memory and cpu problems.
