Its a cheaper Asus X53U, only paid 220, but not sure its worth that,

    Windows 7 Sp1
    4gb Ram
Amd C60 Apu with Hd Graphics 997mhz

Problem is it only runs steady in Safe Mode with networking, I reinstalled windows using Staples disks and nothing has changed. I was never given an
actual Windows disc, how can I install windows without the disc. I dont want the staples/asus add-ons.

I dont mind running in Safe mode, but Im giving it away and they wouldnt be able to set it to boot in safe mode.

Why not just return it and buy something better? (Not from Staples):-D:-D

No way you should only be able to run in Safe Mode.

If you want to keep the Staples disc to install Windows, you can download http://www.majorgeeks.com/content/p...ead.php?p=1845600&posted=1&ss=3072j1163878j11

This will give you a choice of what you want to remove.

Thet don't call it Decrapifier for nothing.

If you download, go to 2nd link down.

That's SOOO true, PSCO! I love that program. It especially is good for anyone using an Asus or Dell or HP computer.

The main PC Decrapifier home page is also a great resource for getting to know how to use this program properly.

I would also highly recommend briefly looking over the Learn More Features page before using it, in order to get the most out of it.

I simply take the Windows 7 computers I've purchased and run either Revo Unistaller free (the free version only sees 32 bit programs) or Advanced Uninstaller Pro (it is free and sees both 32 and 64 bit programs) to remove all the "extras" that I neither want nor need.
After I've cleaned it up to my satisfaction and installed all the Windows updates I want, then I make a baseline image. I now have a working slimmed down, updated and protected (with my choice of security programs) working Windows 7 install.
