I was using my BUSINESS PC and my mouse cursor started bouncing. It is moving so much that it is next to impossible to select anything. I shut downa nd restarted - no help. I unplugged the mouse and tried a wireless mouse - same thing. It is a PC with Windows XP. Does anyone have any ideas? I did a quick search and didn't see the same problem.

Goldenskull I can't follow the rules

First run any Anti-Virus Scans and Malware scan.See if any thing pops up.

I don't use a mouse pad - I use my leg. It probably needs to have the knee replaced...

I'll check the driver Tuesday when I go back to work.

I usually turn it off when I leave for the day, but yesterday I left it running a full virus scan. I will see what happens Tuesday when I get back to work.

Today it is okay. I don't know why it started or why it quit or how to prevent it.
