Breast cancer Awareness

October is breast cancer awareness month and this article moved me (and that's saying something right now!). I make no apologies for posting this link in this forum, not the website links forum. This disease needs publicity to overcome, and this forum gets far more reading.

This is a link I go to every day. About in the middle of the page, you can click to help fund free mamograms. Everyone knows someone who has or had breast cancer. Early detection is important.

Let us not forget that men can also get breast cancer, about 1500 cases per year in the US. Also that the mortality rate is much higher for men.

This is a very serious subject for a number of people. This kind of comment is (in my opinion, I may get in trouble for it, but whatever) juvenile and un-called for in this particular discussion.
