i still have not got b/band but am definetely going to get it

1. how important is it to have a b/band connection that supports file sharing (p2p)
2. what is file sharing and is it any good

 

file sharing is just that. Programs that allow you to "swap" (upload, download) programs, files, videos, music etc etc to others/ from others. If you're into that kind of thing than high speed is what you need. Note that depending on what your swapping, your actions may or may not be classified as "ILLEGAL".

 

if i bought a dvd movie online and download it from a shop would i have to have a file sharing or can i do it with a normal b/band that does not support file sharing

I AM CURIOUS AS THERE IS A COST DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2 DIFFERENT CONNECTIONS

 

If you are actually finding a site that is allowing you to buy movies and download them chances are they are illegal. You don't download legal DVD movies. Technically if you are downloading a movie it isn't DVD anyways since there would be no DVD involved. File sharing is talking about programs like kazaa or napster. You know what those are right?

 

if you bought it online, I'd hope they'd supply you with a download link. You wouldn't need any program to download the movie. Thus you don't need file sharig applications on your pc to download the product.. UNLESSSSSS the company you're buying from has their own program that you must have in order to download the product.

Broad band is broadband.. it's just a connection to the internet.
