    Hey guys, first post
I have gateway 600yg2 laptop, that I've been using for a while. Somehow, I managed to bend or break the ac power jack that's on the back of every laptop (not the pin that's attatched to the wire, but the part that's actually on the BACK of the computer). I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find that part? or if its possible to solder it back in? or do I actually need to buy a new motherboard?
    thanks in advance
    Ralph

depending on price you could try and get another laptop with the same shaped jack then solder that one on if you'd like to fix this yourself. I'm not sure but I think a good shop might do this for an OK price, maybe you should check that?
