Broken Zip100 Drive

    Hi! One of my Parallel Iomega Zip100 drives stopped working an hour ago. I was compressing a disk using DriveSpace, and the drive had mounting problems. I heard clicking sounds from the drive, and DriveSpace reported a disk error. I tried another disk and got the same problem. I swapped it with another drive, and it worked better--at first. The results were less sporadic knocking. Then, after a short while, I got the same results. I am trying a third disk now--so far, so good. Apparently the drive is not the problem.

    It works now. :) Again, it probably was the disks.
