Browser Default Doesn't Stick In Win 10

I have three computers and use Chrome on each one, however on my main computer I have to reenter the default every time I turn it off. Each time it reverts back to Edge, doesn't matter what I do. I have tried going to Control Panel, default programs, choose default by Apps, chosen Chrome , manage, changed all the programs to Chrome, that didn't work, same old thing. Tried every other way I can find but to no avail. There is no option to turn Edge off in the Turn Windows features on and off, only for Explorer 11. Looking at the registry off the three machines I can't find any differences so it has me stumped. It is not incredible important but incredibly annoying.

Haven't tried this myself as never needed to, but it may help.

 

I downloaded the program, unzipped it but can't go any further. Don't know what I am doing wrong but it won't open. Pity as it seems to do what I want. Any ideas?

 

Mine runs fine, are you extracting it properly, how many files were in there? Should be two. What happens when you run the .exe file? What program are you using to un-archive? You may need to update it. Try running it as administrator.
