Hey guys. My mom's laptop got a trojan infection, and there are browser redirects and it won't allow microsoft security essentials to be run. The OS is Win7 64.

I attached the logs...thanks for the help guys.

Re run Hitman and have it delete Potential Unwanted Programs.

Where does your browser redirect to, and which browser does it occur in?

http://imageshack.us/a/img841/7292/thisisujrt.gif Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.

MSSE is not currently installed. What happens when you try to install it?

I uninstalled MSSE before running the tools so it wouldn't interfere with them. Before uninstall, when I would open it, most of the time it would close immediately, but I was able to get to the "update" tab twice, and both times got an error with a popup notification that was like "there is no internet connection so we cannot check for updates".

I re-ran Hitman and let it delete the stuff, and IE and Firefox were both redirecting to blank pages. JRT.txt is attached.

Sorry to be pedantic, but you say WERE. Are they still redirecting now? :confused
