Browser Mayhem!

    Sorry, I didn't read the Read and Run Me First instructions before, because I didn't notice them, but now I did, and I've followed all the directions. :)

    Unfortunately, within the past hour, CounterSpy has caused browser mayhem! in addition to the problems that I had before. I had gotten "<process has already exited> has generated errors and will be closed by windows program error" messages many times before. But CounterSpy has been triggering these error messages nonstop. CounterSpy vs. <process has already exited> errors froze all my windows and literally brought my computer to a total standstill. I tried shutting down and restarting a couple times but the same problem occurred upon restart. So I had to uninstall CounterSpy, although I had run it a few hours earlier and thus have txt info.

    I also still have all the problems that I had before. The windows of the internet explorer browser either completely vanish into the background, or I'm told that internet explorer has to shut itself down and the browser. I can't really do much of anything online. The <process has already exited> errors also now appear multiple times upon restart...Apologies if I sound a bit frustrated -- it's just that the problems have gotten increasingly worse, and I've spent basically most of the past 30 hours trying to work through everything, but I don't know if I'm headed in the right direction. :rolleyes: I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks so much!

    You already have an open thread on your malware issues here http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=99532 so why start a new one? one tip, bumping your issue is likely to have it being missed as the malware experts who help remove these pests work from the oldest thread upwards, so bumping your thread is likely to get it missed all the time, thus it will take longer to get to you as none of us get paid for this we help and donate as much spare time as we can to help.

    as you have logs already posted in your other thread BJ will get to them as soon as he gets back online so please just bare with us as we will get your issues sorted.

    locking this one as its best to stick to one thread :)
