Browser Window Problems

After installing a CD called 3INABED DARTS no browser windows open up on my PC. For Instance, when I click forums or Javascript links, my window tries to open but it doesn't load up. This is only after installing The CD. What has the disc done to knock my settings out of whack and what do I need to do to get it back loading properly. Please help me because this happened to me before. I just need to know how to reset Javascrip so that all browserr windows will open without any problems.

What browser are you using, what version of that browser and what OS?

Have you tried going to tools, internet options and resetting everything to defaults? There are buttons you can click to do that. If IE is really boogered up I have found that reinstalls necessarily do not work. If I can make a suggestion, can IE and download Fire Fox from Mozilla.org. You wont be sorry.

As you didn't mention your operating system, I'm going to assume Win98, because your IE version was 5.5. If you are certain that IE is to blame, go to add/remove programs in Control Panel, and select Internet Explorer. Choose the option to delete it. This will open up a window where you will have the option of repairing your installation. Choose this, and it should restore IE. Hope this helps!

 

I agree with firefox really a great browser, but keep IE also. You need it to download updates from microshaft
