    Microsoft has actually provided this as an update, but on my PC it was automatically unchecked, so it looks like Microsoft have built in a way of telling who has a browser already.

    While this update is going out with a few others and listed as Important is coming unticked by default so it seems, checked 4 pcs today, all unticked, onky checked Win7 machines, but as they all come with a browser (as the E versions of Win7 where shelved for this ballot route, Vista still has N versions) I would not think its scanning first as its not initially installed to scan for a browser, that MS coukd be in more trouble for not having this as a ticked default.

    But this is a trial run of this update for now ahead if a full rollout in the EU
