Browsing History

Does anyone know why my computer frequently deletes my browsing history from the Address Bar in IE? I have unchecked the option to Delete Browsing History on Exit and that worked for about a month, and now it's back to deleting again. At one point, this pc was used at a business, so I thought maybe they changed a setting in the registry that prompted it to delete every x number of days. I'm running McAfee for my anti-virus software, but I don't think that could be causing it. Any ideas or possibly a registry key to check??

 

No, I don't have CCleaner. I noticed the number of days to keep history was set at 5. I have bumped it up but I don't think that's deleting the browsing history since it will be there and then be gone later on the same day and the pc won't have been rebooted. I'm going to check my McAfee settings and see if something there is causing it.

 

Check advanced settings for Clear Temporary Internet files on exit. See if it is checked. Try unchecking it and see if any difference.

 

It was already unchecked. Address Bar had numerous sites last night and again this morning..they've all been deleted. Crazy stuff. I'm going to check the Event log to see if it shows anything ran last night or this morning.
