Brussel sprouts at Xmas

Halo's sig shone this to me. ...
What is it with the reknown please dont make me eat those brussel sprouts, or cabage, or tomatoes, or cooked carrots, or onions...etc..
As we are kids?
Of course for lots this will never change, but for many it does.
I hated brussles, tomatoes ..well all of the above pluss many more..
So why do we enjoy them now as adults(for the most part)? Some things I will never stomach, but for the most, I love all Veggies even Peas!!
Peas were the ones I could not eat...Alas, I was grounded many weekends and Halloweens because of this little green Lady bug sized veggie, that queerly was hatched from a pod!!

my daughter is nearly 4 and she is one of the 'weird' ones, she eats all her veg - including sprouts AND asks for more, i think she is an alien

I'm physically allergic to some substance (Iron Sulphide type compound) found in Brussels Sprouts and eggs. I like some vegies (potatoes, peas, corn, carrots, etc.). Pumpkins, Swedes, Cauliflower, Broccoli and so on, you can eat all for yourself, thanks.

Yes, you are definitely life, Jaza - but not as know it.

I have definitely been known to vegetate, though.

 

I used to grind up veggies and disuse them for my youngest in casseroles, meatloaf ,etc.
