I'm getting the following error when I start up my system:

    STOP: c0000263 {Driver Entry Point Not Found}
"The\systemRoot\system32\drivers\fltmgr.sys device driver could not locate the entry point IoGetDeviceAttachmentBase Ref in driver ntoskrnl.exe"

I had just gotten done trying to reinstalling my hp930c print, no luck, when I rebooted and have yet to regain control of my pc, I continually get the above error when booting normally. I can boot into safemode with network support. I have tried to repair the install with the win cd to no avail.

    System info:
    GigaByte GA7VRXP
    AMD Athlon XP 2200+
    Radeon 7000
    512 RAM
    Windows 2000 sp4

I realize this box is "outdated" but the wife likes 2000.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is this a time to use sfc /scannow?
this is a driver issue, appearingly so, and not a system error... more a question on top of all...

Having reinstalled the printer, could be a driver problem from that, and I see it sometimes is caused by a video driver. If you get into safe mode, as you said, I would uninstal the printer from there, and try restart normal- If that does not solve it, ensure you have the driver for your video, and keep ready, then try roll back driver for the video, - see if that helps, if not, uninstall the video driver, and restart- see if that clears it, then reinstall the video driver.
Microsoft have a page on the error code, if that will help.

Always handy, note the gap between sfc and /scannow
To run sfc /scannow, you will need the cd.
    Start
    Run
    type in
sfc /scannow, and with you cd in the cd drive, click retry, if it keeps popping up

Uninstall printer gives this error "Failed to uninstall the device. The hardware may be required to boot up the computer." This was doing this before, I could not use the add printer function in the printers folder, also to see the printer in device manager I have to click on show hidden devices.

The sfc /scannow cannot be run from the recovery console, and running it from safemode causes an error message to pop up, don't recall it right now. I do remember a "fix for the code" was on MS site but it was for server config.not desktop.

just uninstalled the video and restarted with the same results, any more ideas?

You're going to need a startup manage (I had written such a decent response too!)

What you'll want to do is to locate the printer driver in startup entries and disable it and at that point you can try to boot into safe mode and get passed the bsod. As for uninstalling video, you also just want to try and run in vga graphics mode which you might do sufficiently well by removing your card until the issues are fixed (I'm not too familiar with 2k and so I don't know how you'd do it in the absence of msconfig). If you're on a wireless connection, disabling network printing services might help you uninstall the driver and if it does it might suggest something about your network connection instead!; in which case blessing in disguise. Be careful with the internet commands, I just ran one to try and enable the uac settings and now my computer freezes with the prt scrn (although this might have something to do with network printers too if its a bug --7 has had some sketchy reports if you'll not the plethora of intrusion updates). Run chkdsk too, /p /f /r, /r is the longest but the most thorough and you can get a good idea by running the verbose option /c /i /v which will show you your headers and let you know if its a hardware configuaration issue versus a damned driver issue. Learning slow but fast... welcoem to 7.. gl

So you installed a new driver for your printer, or you reinstalled the same driver? Either way, can you try to roll-back the driver to the previous version? This should be possible in Safe Mode.

If that does not work, can you try the equivalent of a System Restore on Windows 2000 - see instructions here http://www.ehow.com/how_5192660_do-windows-system-restore.html
