bsod Vs nvidia

hi all, could anyone help with my problem, when i try to watch a film on my pc i get the BSOD, the error seems to be 0x000000b8, on checking this it says i have a problem with clusnet.sys loading to soon, i don't have this on my os, could it be nvidia drivers ??.

i have w2k pro with duron 858 proc, 223 pc100 mem and gforce mx/mx400 vid card.

what program are you using to watch films?
have you tried to reinstall it?

also, have tryed difference driver sets for your video card?

i've got divx and nero show time, does it with both of them and wmp, totally uninstalled all three in safe mode and ran registry mechanic then re-installed divx and nero, same happened so uninstalled again and tried alcohol120 - same - so took it of and put divx and nero back on,
unistalled my drivers and got a new set from major geeks - still the same, sat here scratching my head

 

hi, i've got sp3 and auto updates switched on, i'll try that site and write what happens

 

more problems, been to the first site already, downloaded sp4, tried install in normal and safe mode. wouldn't let me said my atapi.sys was in use and to exit install and shut down programme, then resume.
noticed in safe mode asking me whether i want to exit a347bus.sys, googled it and came up with a virtual driver for alcohol120, i unistalled a120 but it left an axv cd/dvd-rom scsi cdrom device (drive f) behind, could this be the problem and would you know how to fix it
