BSOD while using DVD player

Hi, I've been a having problem with my laptop (HP Pavillion dv4-1416TX) crashing every time I try to use my DVD player. When I bought the computer about 10 months ago, it worked fine, since I don’t use my DVD that much, I only noticed the problem about 5 months ago. Anyhow I used Windows Debugger to read the memory dump files. For the most part it seems the error code is the same "Kernel Mode Exception Not Handled" 0x8e and the cause "klif.sys" driver, which seems to be related to Kaspersky Antivirus. My Kaspersky version seems to be up to date, so I'm not sure what else I can do. Today I ran my laptop in safe mode and the DVD playback worked, so I'm assuming that means there is nothing wrong with the DVD in terms of hardware.

I've attached whatever memory dump files I've saved.

Here are the other details on my laptop:
Operating system: Windows 7 Professional
DVD Player: HP CDDVDW TS-L633M ATA Device
Antivirus: Kaspersky Antivirus 2010 Version 9.0.0.736 (a.b.c.d.e.f)

Hi

To start with uninstall Kaspersky and then run the Kaspersky removal tool HERE then CCleaner and its Cleaner and Registry tools (run the registry one until no items are listed for removal) then reboot and do you still get the BSOD messages?

Then re-install it and update, then try the below.

Do you use Peer2Peer (Azurus, Limewire etc)? and use PeerGuardian or similar? if so disable PeerGuardian or similar app and see if you get any BSOD.

Also have you got System Mechanic Pro on your PC? if so uninstall it to see if this stops KAV crashing?
