BSoD With Brand New Hardware

Hey folks. I'm having a problem and for weeks, I have not been able to find an answer. Forgive me if I miss something, but I'm having to go pretty quick. I'll try to be as detailed as I can and provide links for my new hardware.

Brand new: Hard Drive, Mobo, CPU, RAM

I'm getting the BSoD in the middle of installing Windows: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - Stop: 0x0000000a

I understand this is due to incompatible hardware, but everything seems compatible with each other and NOTHING has ever been installed on this HD. I have read that XP doesn't have the proper drivers for SATA, but I have tried installing Vista (32 and 64 bit) with the same results. I haven't tried Windows 7 yet. I have to get the disk from a friend and I will try that soon.

Other than the new RAM listed above, I have tried my old RAM (1 x GeIL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10660)) with no luck. Tried using each stick individually. Tried using all the RAM ports. Tried using a different HD. Switched out video cards. Tried a different power supply. Tried a couple different HDs.

I was able to install XP on the HD with a friend's computer setup (I don't know the specs of that comp). Tried putting the HD in my current setup with the OS on it. It gets to the windows desktop, it goes back to the blue screen for a split second, restarts, and continues that cycle. It appears to be the same stop code. So that didn't work.

So somewhere, there's a piece of hardware that doesn't want to cooperate, right? I'm sure (read: hope) it's something pretty simple and I just missed something.

Take a look at my list of hardware and tell me if I'm just an idiot and got pieces of hardware that just don't play nice with each other. Also, let me know any other info that I missed that you might need to help me out.
