Bsod

I had my computer build for me back in may. It was fine at first but now it's beyond frustrating. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't have a few of the BSOD error's. I have noticed my computer is now freezing up constantly to the point where I haven't even been able to you it without restarting constantly. I have received a few different errors during the BSOD one of them that I can recall is the "Kernel page input error". I spoke to someone from Microsoft and they weren't very helpful. They said it was possible that it was my ram was bad. I tried running the windows memory test and everything came up fine. Can anyone help me out?

What operating system and service pack # are you using?

Do you get the BSOD while in Safe Mode?

Have you checked all hardware connections, reseated the RAM modules, made sure all fans are clean and running?

 

I'm running windows 7 home and it doesn't look like I have a service pack installed. I haven't tried running in safe mode because the error usually happens when i walk away from the computer and when I come back the screen crashes. I have checked all the connections and the reseated the ram but still no luck. I'll try blowing out my fans now.

 

Just trying to see if overheating might be a cause.

I'd suggest running the machine for a while in Safe Mode. That might tell us if the issues are being caused by some 3rd-party program(s).

Also, if you can, download and install BlueScreenView. Make sure your machine is set to record minidumps: a good tutorial is located here. If you have another crash, open BSV and attach its output so we can see what's going on.
