bt voyager 1055 to bt home-hub wireless

6 hours to bt helpline and its driving me crazy, Received my bt home-hub and installed, works perfect thro ethernet connection. Decided to go wireless, got the bt voyager 1055 wireless adapt, installed, all looked fairly routine on setup, connection says excellent but have no access to internet, it says either packets sent eg. 3,755 packets received 0, bt has linked up with my computer now for the 4th time, my comp has the correct specs for the adapter we have been able to go wireless but after a minute or 2 it either freezes the screen, or loses connection, bt broadband say line and home-hub is working fine bt wireless say adapter working fine, is this the computer? even though all specs needed are ok or more. please help bt cant
