BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER in vista!! HELP

Hi, I have SONY VAIO laptop.

Few days ago, my laptop suddenly stopped to recognize my mouse which worked fine until the night before.

Balloons kept appearing in the right bottom corner saying that a device malfunctioned and couldn't be recognized

when the mouse was either connected or disconnected.

The mouse was fine as I checked with other laptops, so I tried with a different mouse, but that didn't work either.

Other than mouses, USB hard drives worked. So I backed up my data in USB drive and reformatted my C: drive,

but it didn't fix the problem. I got my first bluescreen with the code: BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER in a middle of

reformatting, and I get it every time I try to shut down my laptop.

I checked device manager, and now I have this Unknown Device among my USB controllers.

Can anyone please help me?
