Build your own site

I am always looking for something free. I built my first site many years ago writing html code, yes I am still running it and no I am not going to post the link. Today I found this site and it looks great. I know there are a lot of free place where you can build a personal web sites and I have tried many of them (well I must admit most of them) but this one really works smoothly.

The only web site I've ever had was through a company (selling) they made it so anyone could put it together (me) LOL
that didn't work out well, required more money then what came in.
This is just more or less for fun, right? Personal information?
