Hey geeks, anyone know good retail software for a friend who is opening a Pool Hall that serves food and drink. He wants a good Database retail program that will record all transactions and change back. I am limited in this knowledge. He willing to pay but not thousands. He wants to be able just to set up transactions for food and drink. So, any suggestions? Thanks

 

look into microsoft, they bought into Great plains I believe and are bringing out a scaled down POS and backoffice programs. I forget the name, they are targeting small businesses directly. You'll have to find the local installer though, and I believe you need a win 2k server and sql running.
