Burning Problems

I am having an issue with burning DVDS and CD's..It takes over an hour to burn a movie and it used to take 10 mins..also when i burn a c.d it takes 20 mins when it used to only take 3..also my mouse is delayed when im burning and if im listening to music whie im burning it skips and slows down.. I dont know what happened everything wss fine one day then the next this happenedany help is apprecaited..thanks!

 

It sounds like, since you said that it just simply started happening one day, after working just fine before, that it may very well be some sort of malware that has began to infect your system. If that's the case, whatever malware program(s) you're using should take care of that. Although, it could also be that the burner is simply dying, and causing the system to drag when you try to use it. If that's what the problem is, you'll definitely have to replace the burner itself, obviously.
