    Hey,

I have a DVD my friend gave me that has about 10 hours of movies stored on a regular 120 min, 4.7 GB disc. He doesn't own the disc, someone gave it to him so he doesn't know what program the burner used. I was wondering if you guys knew of a DVD burning program that allows you to convert movies into DVD format and allow 10 hours of play time, regardless of quality.

DVD Shrink is a compression for such use but any burning software will have a compression application.
As to how much compression you can get i am not sure because i have never had cause to use it.

Try DVDFlick http://www.dvdflick.net/. Add the movie(s) you want to burn onto DVD, then go to 'Project Setings/Video' and change 'target bitrate' from 'auto-fit' to ,lets say, 2Mbit - you should be able to store about 10 hours of movies but have to deal with sligt quality loss.
